About me
I am a freelancing composer, arranger, violinist, thereminist and keyboardist living in Malmö, Sweden. I have received my higher level music education at Malmö Academy of Music, studying for Jörgen Svensson on violin at the bachelor program and Rolf Martinsson, Bent Sørensen and Staffan Storm on composition at the bachelor and master programs.
I have been musically active in a large variety of constellations, where some of the latest include collaboration with Ensemble Neo and Scenkonst Sörmland after being selected as one of the 2024 year's "Young Swedish Composers", composer-in-residence at the Jauna Muzika festival, Vilnius, Lithuania featuring my electroacoustic work Wooden Worship for multi-speaker ambisonic setup, violin soloist with Järfälla Symphony Orchestra playing Violin Concerto nr. 2 by Tor Aulin, arranger, kapellmeister and keyboardist for Musical Night at the Ystad Theater, Sweden and featured composer at Mostly Modern Festival, Saratoga Springs, USA collaborating with Exponential Ensemble.
My music
What I love about the noble art that is music composition is that there is a virtually infinite amount of ways to compose a piece of music. To fully embrace this, I'm therefore always trying to keep incorporating things I have never done before into my next composition, be it a new harmonic device, a new source of inspiration, a new approach to form or an entirely new composition method.
A recent passion of mine is the exploration of new methods of algorithmic composition, which has resulted in many yet to be utilized composition ideas that I am eager to incorporate in my upcoming compositions.
